Strawberries

Poor kid. She had a fever (I'm pretty sure its teeth) and was in serious need of some dinner so I decided that while we made her something I would give her a few fresh strawberries. She LOVED them, so much in fact, that she refused to eat anything else (and we tried-we really did but she just spit everything else out).

Shoving them in as fast as she possibly could. She was double fisting it most of the time.

This is what remains of our carton of strawberries...I only ate three...they were REALLY good strawberries!

Some Audrey things...

Here are some Audrey things:
She loves Daddy! He comes home and she screeches, laughs and wants only Daddy to hold her. Lately in the morning she won't let him put her down so that he can get ready for work.

She loves to read and eat books.

She laughs a lot and makes lots of happy noises.

She says Mama, Dada, Dog, Dexter, What's/Who's that?

She loves food and will eat pretty much anything except Cheerios.

She loves to "help" me with the laundry. I fold, she pulls things out of the basket, waves them around and throws them on the floor.

She loves to push things: chairs(the full size kitchen ones), books, laundry baskets, toys...

She is close to walking...so close...

She pats you on the shoulder when you pick her up. Hilarious!

She loves pictures, looking out the window, chasing the dog, dumping things out especially right after you pick them up, Sesame street, and lots of other things that I will add as I think of them... :)

The Big 1

I can't believe this girl is 1!

She LOVES books and will sit by herself and look at them. She also loves to have us read to her and lately she also enjoys eating them. Maybe she needs more fiber??

Excited about the horse...and also very excited about clothes...we would open something with clothes, she would screech, grab them and wave them around for a minute.

I thought she would love the cake...I thought she would smash it and throw it everywhere. Nope, she wanted a spoon. Then she decided it was ok to dig in.

Today...

Today was one of those beautiful days that makes you remember what's really important....Audrey and I snuggled, read lots of books, played, watched the rain, laughed, ate popcorn for lunch (just me not Audrey), took naps and stayed in our pj's for a really long time. Sorry you had to work Justin! We missed you!

We are enjoying the new house we are renting...lots more space to play....lots of windows to look out of....

Audrey found my hats...and some other fun things to play with. She's become a little more adventurous now that she's used to the new place. And she's figured out how to open doors and drawers.
