We are enjoying the new house we are renting...lots more space to play....lots of windows to look out of....

Audrey found my hats...and some other fun things to play with. She's become a little more adventurous now that she's used to the new place. And she's figured out how to open doors and drawers.

Clapping

Last week was a little rough to say the least...Audrey was getting over a nasty cold (and the bib is for all the drool-I think she is teething too), I was just getting the cold and neither of us felt well. On Monday, Justin had to work late and Audrey needed to eat so...I put her in her chair and started to put her dinner on her highchair tray. She looked up at me, gave me a big cheese, screeched a happy little sound and started clapping. I start laughing, she laughs, eats and claps some more. So apparently dinner was a success!

Making a come back?

I am trying to remember why I started blogging in the first place...it's a little hazy...But I am sure of one thing. My baby is almost 1 and I haven't kept a journal of any sort (other than pics) and I am a little bit sad about that. Isn't life about the journey and all the adventures we have a long the way?? So...here I am, trying to make a comeback and keep my memories (cause I can't store them upstairs...the braincells are already overworked!).

So...we have just moved to a house (renting) and are enjoying it so far. We have had to do a LOT of cleaning for which, I can admit I was a little bit bitter. But I am getting over it. We do miss our little apartment and the closeness to friends (right downstairs) but we will have a yard and room to run and play. So it will be good, once I finish unpacking and killing all the nasty large spiders.

Audrey has had a really nasty cold and has been totally miserable. So sad...but she is feeling better thank heavens. Maybe we will be able to get to sleep tonight. :)

6 Months

I can't believe this baby is 6 months...she's seriously hilarious. Funny, funny, happy child!

Some firsts...camping, cereal and a car accident.

So...we were all packed up, on the way to go camping...we were waiting to merge from one busy road to another...cars everywhere cause it was about 5:30...we see a break in traffic and Justin pulled forward just a little but realized the car in front of us hadn't gone...so he stops. No biggie...unfortunately the lady behind us wasn't watching and rear ended us. Awesome...Luckily we were all ok...but the car will be needing a new rear. We still went camping though!!

4 months and CHUBBY

There is some serious chub up in hea!!! First time at the drive in...in the middle of nowhere. But it was fun. Audrey did great! She just slept.

This is her Dino...she takes naps with him. Goodbye 0-3 month jammies...we will miss you. :(

We really like our farmers market and the walkway down by the river...good times. This last Saturday was fabulous weather so we stayed out all afternoon.

Happy Late 4th!!

Happy Late 4th of July!! Audrey was so lucky...she got to see her favorite cousins Logan and Landon!! Aren't they cute boys??

She is still trying so hard to be a thumb sucker...

Sorry, I always was a little annoyed at those Moms who only talked about their babies and all the stuff their kids were doing. I am now one of those Moms...I don't think it's normal to be excited about a bowel movement...but when baby is unhappy cause she has the toots, what do you do? I wasn't sure if I would like to be a Mom or if I could even handle it. But even though its tough sometimes and I just want to pull my hair out (which I really don't need to cause its falling out like crazy on its own) I realize that its fun...and I do love it...and I really love my little girl even when she cries cause she has to toot. And I guess I am writing this cause this is now my life. Things are SO DIFFERENT now, but in an AWESOME way.

Craziness...

Audrey has finally grown out of her newborn clothes...it was kinda hard to pack them away... :(

But when they don't fit....what do you do??

And we are so happy for Daddy...today was his first day of work with an income (an actual paycheck!!). Yah!

Visits and Good News!!

We visited my family over Memorial Day weekend...Thanks Grandma, Grandpa, Uncles and Aunt Jen! We had a great time and it was nice to have plenty of hand to hold Audrey!
